Liv has worked as a music director and conductor for the last nine years throughout Yorkshire and the north of England, having trained across a variety of musical genres including gospel, pop, classical and musical theatre.
Liv holds a BA (Hons) in Music from the University of York and an MA Music Management (Dist.) from the University of Sheffield.
Liv has conducted on a diverse range of stages, from the world-famous Greyfriars Kirk in Edinburgh to Sheffield’s iconic Leadmill stage and Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall.

Liv is a much in-demand workshop leader and has worked all over the UK to deliver sessions for all ages and experience levels. Their specialisms include group singing, conducting, arranging, music theory and performance practice.
Liv runs accounts on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube dedicated to showcasing original a cappella arrangements; educating people on areas of arranging and music theory and celebrating the amazing world of popular group singing.

Although they had initially planned to pursue a career in film composition, Liv fell in love with directing choirs through their involvement in Zamar Gospel Choir and it was via choral MDing that Liv discovered arranging.
Liv is currently on the 2025-26 cohort of National Youth Choir Emerging Professional Artists as one of two Young Conductors.
On par with Liv’s passion for conducting is a love of arranging, with a specialism in alternative pop and adapting *that song you heard once and loved but couldn’t remember the name of* into a dynamic and luscious arrangement for voices. Liv’s aim is for every arrangement to be challenging and as enjoyable to sing as it is to listen to.
As a singer, Liv has performed live with artists including Self Esteem, Divorce, Pet Snake, Before Breakfast and The Howl & The Hum and produces under the solo project seedling.
